Barwon Valley 6/6
Once again we were greeted with a cold crisp morning which didn,t seem to deter the scoring on a much improved track than we have played in recent times due to the dry weather . The winner on 41 pts was Manners followed by Josip Peretin jnr on 40 pts and the ever consistent Steve Kunovic rounding out the podium with 38 pts . They say that the 3rd round of a tournament is moving day , well our 6th round of the year has produced a moving day with Chris Tyquins once huge lead in the MVP gone in the space of one round . You can throw a blanket over 5 players at the moment with Steve Kunovic currently leading on 128 pts , but as they say in the classics , you can,t win a premiership in June .
Once again a reminder to all players that green fees for the CRO OPEN at 13th Beach is due no later than the 2nd of Aug .
HAPPY GOLFING and see you all at East Geelong on the 18th of July

I see the top 5 in the MVP are close but a smokie must be Peretin Jnr. He is full of confidence, he has the best practice swing in the business and that is now coming across to his hitting the golf ball. Watch out!!!
