Curlewis January 15th 2012
Welcome everyone to the new year. Firstly I would like to thank everyone for coming to our First Golf Round for season 2012. It was great to see all our old members turn up and also seeing a few new members.
With a turnout of around 35 people and absolute perfect conditions, it looked like a score in the 40′s would take out the round.
Taking out the round with a score of 41 points was Tom Pausak. He was a 27 handicapper but it has now been chopped to 25. In 2nd place and already trying to go back to back MVP winner was Stipe Kump. What kind of round would it be without a Stosic in the top 3. 3rd position went to Ante Stosic.
Our nearest the pin winners were, Steve Perin, Miro Kurtovic, Mario ‘MAKI’ KORDIC, and Goran Skoko.
Longest Drives went to Rino Smilovic and Bozo Sesar (apologies Bozo, I couldn’t put the little v above the Z in Bozo).
Now for my favourite part. NAGA was handed out to John Kandic with 19 points. Unfortunatey for John, Mr. Pavlicevic could not attend Curlewis as he would have taken out NAGA for sure. As a new rule in 2012, whoever gets NAGA for the round will need to wear a bright vest for their NEXT round. The vest will be supplied by the committee.
Our next round is at Point Lonsdale on February 5th. Tee off is at 7am. Hope to see you all there.
Until next time, Happy Swinging.
Cheers
Mark

Cannot believe what I saw on the MVP list!!! I had to read it again. Our esteemed former president actually got some MVP points.
And the last comment for the day: Ante Stosic guaranteed a victory this year!!
Looks like his optimism outweighs his talents
Isnt the Russian full of bravado!?!?!
Should be with that swing of his
This is the year for the Russian Medved to win it all!!

Max the empire has crumbled!! Only thing that the russian is good for these days is making provacative comments on the website
Unlike a Russian to deflect attention away from themselves??
The empire might have crumbled but the Medved empire is strong as ever!!! Year of the skivvy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no odds for this weekend as ths bookmaker would lose money as all the punters would put money on steven smilovic..
Seeing i will be attending a 1st birthday party on Saturday, i feel it would be wise for all those punters to be looking elsewhere to offload their hard earned as my condition come Sunday morning may not be the best its ever been.
Where was Josip ‘Pinga’ Peretin?
Don’t tell me the psychological scars from the choke at ‘hack of hacks’ were too deep that they prevented him from turning up?
